Child ID

On a given day, do you know your child's height, weight or blood type? This information will be necessary should your child wander off in a public place or go to an emergency room. Please don't leave the home without a CHILD ID & a child locator! It's a small investment for what you get in return.

* 60,000 pets are reported lost or stolen each year - 90 percent wear ID
* 800,000 kids are reported missing each year - 2 percent wear ID
* One out of every four children will go to an emergency room
* Many children can not remember their address or phone number
* Children with an ID are returned in 10 minutes on an average, without it
they could be gone for hours increasing the chance for injury or tragedy

ID your child! It is affordable and can save crucial time in searching for a child!

More is yet to come. Please help us identify your needs. Feed back...

We Offer:

Paper ID

Most parents have a natural instinct of protecting the confidentiality of their child. We understand that and although we have Child Privacy Policy in place to do just that, we offer a "Goody Bag" of Paper I.D. for purchase. Take it home, attach a recent photograph of your children, fingerprint them, collect DNA samples and tooth prints, fill out the I.D. and store the kit in a safe, dry place for easy retrieval.

Digital ID

The digital I.D. is storing information in electronic format on a memory stick or storage device such as a floppy or a CD. We offer USB type devices that are called "Keys" because parents can carry these on a keychain, called Amberstick and LifeLynx, that have 24-hour access features. We also offer CD-Rom ID “Wizard” called SafeKid Card, where you fill in the blanks and then store the business-card-sized CD. Check out “Child ID” line of products in our InvincaShop.

Travel ID

We can not stress the importance of a child I.D. enough! We offer and will continue adding to a wide variety of child I.D.s. We have sticker I.D. labels for inside the shoes, bracelet and shoe velcro I.D.-s, CarSeat I.D. stickers, Bike and Helmet I.D. stickers, medical I.D. and release forms, medical velcro wristband, ID jewelry for the most discriminating customer: emergency information magnets and more. We made your job of I.D.-ing your children easy, fun and affordable!

DNA

The DNA Kit is a do-it-yourself at home kit that allows you to store samples of your child's DNA. To complete the DNA Kit please follow the instructions as outlined below and in the DNA Kit. Please wash your hands, as well as the child's hands, before beginning.
  • Step 1- Hair Sample: Collect several strands of hair from the child's head. Strands should have the root and follicle intact for accurate DNA testing. Place hair strands in the paper envelope marked "Hair Collection Envelope," seal and place in a large plastic zipper bag.
  • Step 2 - Fingernail Clipping Sample: Clip three (3) or more fingernails from the child's fingers. Place fingernail clippings in the paper envelope marked "Fingernail Collection Envelope," seal and place in a large plastic zipper bag.
  • Step 3 - Saliva (Buccal Cell) Sample: Note - the child should not eat or drink anything 30 minutes prior to the sample being taken. Roll one of the cotton swabs around the inside of the child's left cheek for approximately ten (10) seconds. Place the moist swab in a small cup, sample side up so that the sample does not touch anything. Let dry for one (1) hour. Repeat the above step with the second cotton swab for the right cheek. Place both dried cotton swabs in the paper envelope marked "Saliva Collection Envelope," seal and place in a large plastic zipper bag.

Toothprints

Toothprints is an arch-shaped thermoplastic wafer that you soften in hot water, then place on the patient’s lower arch. The child bites into the wafer for 50 seconds in the same manner as a bite registration taken for prosthetics or orthodontics. After allowing a 2-3 minute cool-down period in the plastic bag provided, you’ll give your patients’ parents the Toothprints bite impression to take home for safekeeping. Kerr offers Toothprints at minimal cost so that you can provide this service at an affordable price or even on a complimentary basis as a practice builder. Making a Toothprints bite impression takes only a few minutes. It’s comfortable for your young patients and will give their parents peace of mind. Hopefully, they’ll never have to use it.

Voice & Video

Safety Experts recommend to always keep a voice and or video sample of your child alongside all other informaton. Check back for up-to-date information on products and services or contact us for more.
